There are many manufacturers which offering a roller blind. One of them is: Hunter Douglas. This well known producers, at least produce three types of roller blinds, i.e. sunscreen, blackout, and translucent type.

Sunscreen type has a function to reduce sun heat. but residents can still see outside the house without undisturbed. If you really needed to reduce or prevent the sunlight that came into the room, the blackout might be more suitable types. By using this type, the room can be darkened in the daytime, if no lights are illuminated.

Last type is translucent. This product is not transparent and still can enter the sunlight into the room. Generally this type has much variation of pattern and texture. This type is more suitable to maintain the privacy of occupants of the room.

In the interior of modern houses, roller blinds start to become a replacement for curtain. This is because its material advantage, and also because of the variation of its design. Thus, the room function can also be supported by it.

Well, if you’re interested in using a roller blind, the price is not too expensive. Average price is  between USD 30-110 / m2. Not too expensive, right?
