Combination of Red and Black Colors for Gothic Style
Red and black could be interesting combination. Both create depth of character to the room. These two popular colors used in the Gothic-style interior design.
In architecture, the Gothic style inspired by the church buildings (Ecclesiastical). Classic Gothic-style buildings, can be seen on churches building, castles, and palaces in the medieval period (middle ages). Many people also identify this architectural style with Dracula’s castles. Characteristic of Gothic architecture, which still can be seen until now, is the existence of such pointy formations like arrows. Usually found on windows, doors, roof dome, and so forth.
Impressing the ancient, much less identical with Dracula, it’s no wonder the word “Gothic” often refers to the gloomy impression. Nevertheless, the Gothic style also gives the classy impression, because it was widely used in castles and palaces.
For those of you who got bored with the style your room, the Gothic might become inspiration.Don’t need to change the home into a Victorian era style. Simply play the color.
Gothic was Identical with strong character color, red, black, dark purple, gold, dark green and dark yellow (Ochre). Play with one of these colors, or can also combine several of them. Blend of red and black for example. Both colors are equally strong character and has the potential to attract attention. Applying it in the room, will make the room attractive, has character, and unique. However, not many people want to apply these two colors together. Because, both color have heavy and dark impression. If you also think so, no need to apply it on the wall of the room. Simply apply the color selections of furniture, curtains, lamp shades, beddings, carpets, and various other room accessories.
